I’m writing this from a canoe in the middle of my flooded street.
Kidding! But it is rather flooded over here.
You may have noticed that my short film 30 Minutes, which I’ve been shamelessly plugging since shooting it back in November, was not, as advertised, released on Monday. I don’t have all the information but it seems the release has been delayed to allow for a debut at a festival this spring (Yay, because film festivals! But boo, because impatience). Honestly, I’m really proud of everyone’s work that went into making that film and I can’t wait to share it with you all. I’ll keep you posted as I get more details from Pixel Stream.
Meanwhile, Twelfth Night opens in about 3 weeks! 3 WEEKS. I have always loved Shakespeare but working on this show with my friends and playing one of the bard’s coolest chicks (Viola!) has thrown me head-over-heels in love with the text, with the story, with everything. We’re at the stage in rehearsal where things are really starting to come together and it’s getting exciting. I would love for you to come see it. You can get tickets via the Foundlings’ web site.
That’s all for now. Please don’t float away on me!
