Alyssa loves glam rock, Victorian novels, murder podcasts, animals of all kinds, and all manners of storytelling.
She attended Columbia College Chicago and the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in NYC, and since moving to Chicago permanently in 2010, has continued her education in Shakespeare and the odd stage-combat classes, on-camera workshops, and by seeing as many plays by Chicago companies as possible.
Alyssa is an ensemble member with Solo Crowd Chicago, where real life becomes written, staged and shared by those who lived it, and she performs with The Back Room Shakespeare Project whenever she gets a chance. Her on-camera work includes spots for Feeding America, Star Bank, Kohler, Ford Mustang, and Hesta Homes, as well as the award-winning short film “30 Minutes,” with Pixel Stream Productions. Come see her sometime.
